Pastor Tim Guerino: A ground-breaking year for Turlock Mission

As I reflect on 2014, I am humbled by the outpouring of love and support for the ministry of the Turlock Gospel Mission. It has been a ground-breaking year with the beginning of the construction of the building at 437 Broadway Street for the year-round shelter for men, women and children, which we hope to complete in 2015.

From thousands of meals served to tens of thousands of casework hours and the 5½ months of overnight shelter provided for hundreds of women and children, all this and much more allowed us to continue our mission in helping the homeless and the hurting people of Turlock find hope and restoration through Christ.

Most of all, we here at TGM were able to assist many in finding housing, substance-abuse rehab, ID cards, VA assistance and employment; in fact, three-fourths of the staff members at TGM have themlselves overcome homelessness or substance abuse and now work helping others through the Homeless Assistance Ministry or Day Center.

We are very grateful for your continued prayers, love and financial support in 2015.

Pastor Tim Guerino, Executive Director, Turlock Gospel Mission, Turlock
