Thomas Gemetti: Drones would be cheaper than an airplane
Re “Advisory panel backs police airplane” (Page 2B, Dec. 13): Does the Modesto police department really need a budget-busting airplane to spy on us? Instead, how about a couple of drones available at a local hobby store? Then put our resources to work on Modesto’s much-needed traffic management and traffic law enforcement.
