Wayne Wallace: If they can require registering drones, why not guns?
Re “FAA to require most drones to be registered, marked with owner data” (Page 10A, Dec. 15) I read in The Bee that they are going to regulate the sale of drones. A purchaser buying a drone must register the drone and have his or her name on it. I have one question: If the government can regulate a drone for being dangerous and being capable of causing mass killings within a short time of them arriving on the market, why can’t they do the same with guns?
They can register the gun and have their name engraved on the gun? I really don’t see a problem with that; do you?
