Dean Meeuwse: Guns are ubiquitous; give up trying to control them
To tell us that the way to cure these shootings is to make it harder to get guns is off the chart! That is like telling us back in the ’60s and ’70s that pot was illegal and you’re not supposed to have any in your possession. Anybody can buy pot, and anybody can buy a gun – legally or illegally.
So give up on that idea, and try to illuminate the problem rather than dodge it!
