Dave Cash: Trump perfect antidote to this ultra-liberal presidency
Re “Trump riding wave of fear, anger; but he’ll wash out” (Page 1D Dec 6): The Bee’s editorial slamming Donald Trump is just what I expected. Well hang onto your unicorns, because he could possibly be the next president. As he continues to lead in almost every poll (except MSNBC’s), here’s some things you should consider:
1. He’s not a cookie-cutter Republican. That scares big oil, big business and the Republican establishment because he can’t be controlled.
2. He says exactly what he thinks, PC be damned. This fact resonates with blue-collar working stiffs across the country, and no matter how outrageous his comments, he keeps gaining popularity. Americans are tired of “Political Correctness” and the scourge of liberal drool that our ultra-liberal president and his Kool Aid swilling lemmings have infected the country with. That pendulum is swinging back the other way. Is he the best candidate? Absolutely not. Would I vote for him? That remains to be seen.
So get ready to be yanked back from the land of sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. Reality beckons, and the possibility of a Trump presidency is a reality.
