Larry Dovichi: Bee misplaces its pity and its compassion
The Bee’s editorial “Who is to blame for the tragedy in Colorado?” (Dec. 1), made me sick. I proudly stand with “pro lifers” and their fight to end the gross practice of selling parts of aborted human babies to increase nothing more than a bottom line. The Bee isolates and highlights a few incidents then lays blame on an entire group of Americans doing nothing more than bringing light to a profitable industry that is lower than slave traders, drug dealers and human traffickers.
Pitying the poor “browbeaten” head of Planned Parenthood, to the point she was unable to answer questions, was laughable. The question was simple. Does your organization sell body parts of aborted babies? Her stammering proved the videos accuracy. The answer was either yes or no. The Bee continued by compiling a list of four outrageous acts perpetrated by this anti-abortion “blood on their hands” group by including an attack on Planned Parenthood facilities that “someone took a hatchet smashing computers, plumbing fixtures and medical equipment.” Wonder if The Bee thought about the blood of thos little humans beings on the gloves of those holding a sterilized surgical knife to steal a kidney or heart?
