Mike Harden: Checking on watering restrictions a waste of time
Re “Lawns are cut back to 1 drink a week” (Page 3A Nov. 26): Now that the Modesto City Council has adopted additional water restrictions for residents and businesses, when can we expect the hard-hitting investigative journalism and photographs depicting the condition of each council member’s lawn? I can only imagine the reporter’s disdain when assigned this breaking story and wonder if he is questioning why he spent years getting a journalism degree only to chase such worthless news!
