John Garcia: We should take care of who’s here before admitting more

I walk La Loma park trail every morning after dropping my granddaughter off at her school, and I see the diversity of people who walk on this beautiful trail and how lucky and grateful I am to live in this wonderful nation. However, when I see the homeless, the unemployed, the crime rate in our city and our illegal population, it saddens me that our politicians don’t have time to work together to take care of our own before allowing anymore refugees, illegals, student that overstay their visas, and other issues affecting our standard of living.

So let’s take the time to take care of our own before allowing anymore refugees.
