Bill Wood: Don’t trust this administration to properly check refugees

The current administration is determined to admit refugees from Syria. The claim is they will be investigated to insure there are no terrorists allowed in. How do they do any examination?

The best place would be the Syrian government, which we have decided must be overthrown. Not a good reliable source any longer. I do not believe the administration’s claims. This is the same administration that promised “If you like your doctor/health plan, you can keep them.” They also drew the “red line” over the use of chemical weapons in Syria, and when the line was crossed did nothing. Just heard Vice President Joe Biden characterize the refugees as primarily women and children. Authoritative estimates place the refugee population at 70 to 77 percent draft-age males. From what has been shown on news broadcasts, it appears the vast majority are young men.

We do have a history of taking in the huddled masses yearning to be free. We never intended to take in militants committed to harm us. Expect the arrival of all manner of Syrians to come anyway. Our borders are little resistance to them!
