Susan Robinson: Message to Islamic radicals, there is no afterlife

Attention: ISIS fighters and supporters: You have been fooled! There is no afterlife of any kind and you will get no rewards. There is only oblivion after death. There are so many of you killing and dying that in a few years no one will remember who you were or what you did. You will be forgotten.

It is easy and cowardly to cause harm, suffering and death. It is very difficult and brave to relieve suffering and prevent harm and death. Those who dedicate themselves to the noble cause of making this life, the only life we will ever have, better and happier for all will be loved and remembered.

Cast off your allegiance to those made-up stories that destroy life and happiness. Each of you must become an individual who opposes and challenges the infliction of suffering on any other individual. Let every individual seek their own beliefs and happiness as long as they inflict no harm on others. Fear no belief, fear no freedom, fear no happiness. You are entitled to all of those things, as is every other individual. The only evil is the causing of harm. The only sacred thing is existence.

Susan Robinson, Modesto
