Thank you to the enthusiastic volunteers who helped clean up Scenic Avenue on Veterans Day. I really appreciated your hard work and community spirit!
Bruce, Barbara, Diane, David, Kathryn, Paul, Brandon and Brittany – your willingness to clean up this busy area, with no reward other than to see the area look cleaner, is quite commendable. I hope this project will encourage other community members and business leaders to get involved in maintaining and improving other areas in our community. Groups can easily organize clean-ups in neighborhoods by contacting Stephanie at Modesto’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department to arrange for safety vests and litter-bag pick up. Thanks again to all our volunteers; you are very special people!
