Angeline Michelsen: Trump claims he’s a Christian, but not living the faith
Donald Trump almost had me fooled. He waved his Bible and boasted that he is a Presbyterian, but then he scoffs at the redemption Ben Carson has experienced. Apparently, Trump is not aware that in his Bible (has he read it?) the whole New Testament is a testament to God’s redeeming gift, available to all who honestly seek it. I daresay Donald Trump might declare that he is a Christian, however, without experiencing God’s redemption, he cannot claim to be one who is a follower of Christ and his teachings.
