John Lucas: Bee finally gets around to reporting horrors of drone attacks

I was glad to see The Bee editorial “Our View: U.S. Drones are killing to many innocents” (Page 3B, Oct. 23). It is sad that The Bee, along with all other mainstream media outlets, have ignored these killings that have been going on for 14 years. Predator drones are still being used today to kill and terrorize people in Iraq , Afghanistan, Somalia, Pakistan and Yemen. These attack are immoral and illegal! They are being carried out by our government in our names.

The editorial also pointed out that the eight part series “Drone Papers” published in the online magazine Intercept won’t be published in the New York Times or any other mainstream outlet. For the most part, if you want to really know what’s going on in our country, our government and the world, alternative media outlets are where you should turn.

Here are some suggestions: Link TV or FSTV networks on Dish TV, DirecTV and ATT Uverse. If you have Comcast, and can’t find the networks, call and ask why.
