Ken Garst: Tale of two networks, one news and one absurd
I watched and listened to President Obama’s outline for executive action on immigration policy on MSNBC. Promptly, at the end of the President’s 15-minute presentation, I switched to Fox News to hear their commentary and reaction regarding the speech. I have a college degree in English and continue to read fiction and non-fiction on a daily basis.
Assuming the Fox airing of the speech is the same as was shown on MSNBC, it is clear the FOX commentators either do not understand clear-spoken English or they are merely reciting (or reading from a teleprompter) a reaction previously written by the American Heritage Foundation or some other white supremacist organization. In any event, the Fox analysis was completely absurd and total nonsense – clearly designed to continue to negatively brainwash their old and poorly educated white followers.
