Leslie Terra: MPD’s animal control helped quiet a barking dog
Thank you, Erin Tracy, for your Bee Investigator article “Do dogs barking drive you crazy?” (Page B1, Nov. 17). The article gave great information for people whose lives have been disrupted by a noisy dog.
Unfortunately, I know all too well how this works. They advised me and guided me through the process of dealing with a constantly disruptive dog whose owner, my neighbor, was less than approachable. If you have questions about what to do, because you’ve exhausted any ideas you thought would work, call John or anyone else in their office; they are very helpful. They take every call seriously and make promises that they do keep.
We are so fortunate to have such a great resource in our county. Keep up the great work, John, and the staff members of MPD Animal Control. I don’t know what I would have done without you!
