Charles Byrd: Republicans must act decisively to stymie Obama

The Republicans now control both houses of Congress. Is the Republican victory a conservative one? Will the Republicans act like a majority party? Will they act like an opposition party?

If the answer to these questions are “yes,” expect to see this: Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee given chairmanship of important committees, rapid advancement of genuine conservative policies that will advance freedom while minimizing government (i.e., audit the Federal Reserve, repeal or piecemeal dismantling of Obamacare, reigning in judicial tyranny) and use of the power of subpoena to dig deeper into the Obama scandals.

If the answer is “no,” expect this: Sappy platitudes about cooperation, bipartisanship and unity – all proving the late George Wallace right when he said there is not a dime’s worth of difference between Democrats and Republicans.
