Gary Soiseth: Looking forward to a great Turlock future

I wanted to take a moment, in this post-election fog, to say thank you to the residents of Turlock for electing me as their next mayor. I am humbled to have gained the confidence of my city and the opportunity to lead our community for the next four years.

I also want to thank the dozens of friends, family and supporters who knocked on thousands of doors to convey my message for a stronger Turlock. I will work diligently to bring into reality the clear vision that our volunteer-based campaign was centered on.

I will start by tackling Turlock’s most pressing issues – from roads to water to economic development – in a comprehensive, collaborative and energetic way through my “100 day commitment.” I encourage those who want to provide input, and those with expertise, to come to our workshops and join us in guiding Turlock toward an even healthier future. I also want to see our campaign’s high level of openness, trust and accessibility remain as a constant presence in the mayor’s office.
