Anthony Cannella: An honor to serve as your state senator

I am humbled that the voters of this great district have entrusted me to be their voice at the State Capitol for a second time. Serving as your State Senator is an honor and I’m eager to get back to Sacramento to continue working for you.

I’ve supported legislation that provides equal educational opportunities for every student, improves the Valley’s economy and makes our water supplies more reliable. Those priorities have not changed. I will remain focused on proposing solutions to the major problems facing our state and working across party lines to deliver results.

I make decisions based on what’s best for the families and communities I represent. It’s well-known that I work with members of both parties, and I’m proud of that. Governing is a two-way street: we live in communities that live by the decisions we make. Real leaders work with everyone they represent, not just the people with whom they already agree. That’s the only way to make good laws that the public will support.
