Kathy Brennan: Kids safety more important than AP’s credibility

Re “FBI’s fake news has real threat” (Opinions, Nov. 13): Let me get this straight. The FBI used ingenious cyber-tech investigative skills to protect a high school full of innocent students from a potential terrorist threat, and now the Washington Post and the AP journalists are worried about their potential “credibility” with future sources? Really? Ask the parents of any one of those students attending the Seattle high school that was reportedly threatened how they feel about the techniques employed to catch this criminal. Job well done, all agencies involved!
