Barbara Frazer: Standing ovation for veteran, daughter
Re “Lifetime of bravery inspires daughter” (Page A-1, Nov. 11): With tears in my eyes I read the Veterans Day article by Theresa Hong about her father, Vietnam veteran Jim Moore. I know that many, many families have stories like these, and I know America is grateful for the sacrifices by our brave heroes, our veterans.
Theresa’s piece brought back how grateful we should be for the many sacrifices our veterans have made for our freedom. Thanking our veterans seems a small thing in comparison, but indeed we do thank them, and honor them. Thank you Jim Moore, and thank you, Theresa Hong, proud daughter. We stand with you both.
