Richard Kappmeier: Obama got what was coming to him

Lack of trust of President Obama and those Congressman who blindly supported him in his “leading from behind” quest to “transform” America into a socialistic country is the reason for last Tuesday’s election rout.

Voters recognized that Obama is fostering the stonewalling of the investigations into “Fast and Furious” and IRS scandals; released five terrorists; selectively ignored laws (Obamacare); uses the Department of Justice and IRS as political weapons; was surprised by the VA scandal, the Crimea events and emergence of ISIS.

Obama preaches economic class divisiveness and fabricated a “war on women.” He demonizes business while his economic policies weaken our economy and burden America with debt. His lack of a coherent foreign policy and lack of international relationships weakens America in the eyes of the world. Despite last Tuesdays rout, he still threatens to give “amnesty” to 11 million illegals, thus creating Democrat voters by Executive Order while refusing to secure our borders.

He has reduced military budgets and troop headcount while Russia and China increase their military expenditures and make geographic intrusions. Voters recognized the president’s purely socialistic (Democrat) party-first politics vs. honesty and dedication to finding and telling the truth and doing what’s right for all American citizens.

Editor’s note: The Department of Defense budget in 2014 is listed as $527.5 billion, according to the office of the comptroller. The 2008 Department of Defense budget was $479 billion.
