Leo Stutzin: Why weren’t Bee’s results complete?

I find it appalling that The Bee did not carry a full tally of election results in Thursday’s paper. Your election coverage in Wednesday’s paper closed long before all votes were tallied, with some contests still undecided. Who won? Who lost? How many people voted? Certainly some ballot counts will still be trickling in, but those available by Wednesday evening should have been reported.

Editor’s note: The Bee’s election night production deadline was 11 p.m. Since the majority of Stanislaus County’s ballots were either mailed in or hand delivered, they were unavailable by our deadline. Modbee.com’s election results are automatically udpated.
