David J. Fauskin: Jeb can’t rewrite his brother’s sad history

I was mildly amused by the recent Republican debate in which Jeb Bush declared that his dim-witted brother, George Dubya Bush, a confessed war criminal, had made the world safe for democracy. Methinks Jeb smoked a little reefer before he made that ridiculous statement. What a hoot! The frightening part is the fact that Jeb is considered the smart Bush.

George Dubya is a steadfast pro-lifer. I guess he figured it made no sense to kill them in the womb when he could send them to get blown up in Iraq and Afghanistan. I always thought the tragic-comic theater of the absurd appeared only in literature, but I guess this old soldier must be wrong.
