Jennifer Bush: Exactly how much do supervisors think they should make?
Re “Ordinance will give Stanislaus County supervisors automatic raises based on 8-county survey” (Page 3A, Sept 17): As I was reading my morning paper I came upon this story. Will the BS never end? I was deeply offended by the attitude in the article. Since when is a part-time job offering $74,000 to $84,000 a year not enough? And by all means, let’s use Monterey County instead of Kings County. Lots of big money there.
Are you not happy with the money you make off your orchards? Most of the people you serve don’t make half that amount. When will it be enough? Ever?
