Rita F. Silva: Texas far better for business than California
My brother-in-law recently attended a family wedding in Texas. He told me, with a tone of awe in his voice, about the business climate there. It is so good that there are plenty of jobs and a lot of construction going on. Compare this to California where, because of the liberal political climate, no new jobs are coming and many jobs are leaving along with businesses. California is much more interested in giving welfare because politicians can use taxpayer money to buy votes. There is also the fact that this administration advocates open borders and illegals can come here and in 30 days go on welfare As a conservative who was raised in a hard-working, tax-paying family, I find it hard to believe that the news media would endorse candidates such as Jerry Brown for governor. Any state that is more interested in giving welfare than promoting jobs, is a disgrace and un-American. This country has been successful because of good work ethics, not welfare.
