Steve Crifasi: Blame environmentalists for our devastating forest fires
The great Jerry Brown keeps blaming the drought and global warming for the devastating wild fires in California. He needs to look at all of his friends in EPA. Their unwillingness to allow harvesting of dead trees and the removal of underbrush in our forests fuels these fires. I saw a report on TV witch dealt with the “ghost forest” in California. These are dead trees located in lower elevations of the Sierra Nevada forests. There are millions of these trees, and they will burn like matches. Jerry, you need to stop beating that same old drum about global warming.
