Rex and Nancy Cline: Kristi Ah You was a star at coroner’s office

We are voting for Kristi Ah You for Modesto City Council District 3. I worked with Kristi at the coroner’s office and, to my knowledge, she was the first to rise up the ranks from Deputy Coroner to Chief Deputy Coroner. She was in charge of a multi-million-dollar budget and the staff, but what impressed me most was her vision for the Coroner’s Office. She took the office to a new level of service and efficiency that, in turn, benefited the citizens of our community.

While working with her, I found that if she didn’t have an answer or solution to a problem, she found one. She didn’t hesitate to say she didn’t have an answer, but was diligent on finding one. She worked hard at negotiating for the needs of the deputy coroners through union negotiations. These experiences have prepared her to lead our city. I am confident she will be a hard-working, diligent councilwoman intent on improving the quality of life for the citizens of Modesto. Join Nancy and me in voting for Kristi.
