Keith Ensminger: Mobley’s ads are backfiring

I am glad Jack Mobley’s handlers and the GOP let us know about Adam Gray’s spending to attend conferences on our behalf because it tells us all we need to know about Jack. Our representative needs elbow grease to learn facts, and most of Jack’s figures were wrong. Our representative needs to conduct independent research, something Jack failed to do.

I am glad Jack let us know he will gladly accept money from the anonymous wealthy patrons that Citizen United unleashed to produce his campaign slogans. But we need a representative who conducts independent research. We need a representative who will not allow secret money from people who have no interest in our welfare other than to take us for saps pay for their campaigns. The ads reveal Jack will probably never set foot anywhere outside Merced and Sacramento on our behalf. I appreciate his candor, but I want a representative who will attend conferences and other venues for us, especially a representative like Adam Gray who honestly uses campaign funds for the trips.

I wonder what else Jack will cover up, so that’s why I’m voting for Adam Gray.

Keith Ensminger, Merced
