Jim and Donna Montavon: Bee’s stand against clerk a stain on the paper

Re “Kim Davis is no religious martyr” (Opinions, Sept. 9): We find this article is so full of crap that it gives your paper a sad name. The article rambles on with endless negative remarks about Mrs. Davis and her supporters, including two Republican presidential candidates, all of whom are willing to publicly take on one of the worst judicial decisions in our history. For an “Editorial Board” to publish such garbage sends another message to all, not just Christians, but to all Americans, that anything resembling opposition to liberal judicial decisions makes you an evil person. Mrs. Davis and her supporters are not simple “Kentucky backwoods religious martyrs” but examples of folks who built this country founded on freedom and religious liberty, and willing to stand up for those values. Get a clue “Editorial Board” and write something of substance and value.
