Joe Stangl: Support for Brem from Afghanistan
As a Turlock resident who currently works on a U.S. Department of Agriculture project in Afghanistan, I can appreciate Gary Soiseth’s contract work abroad. This mayoral election, however, should focus on local service and experience. Mike Brem has humbly served our city for the past 20 years. His qualifications demonstrate everything we should expect in a candidate: long term city resident, community leadership, strong agriculture background, and successful business owner. Though Soiseth has a promising future in politics, I put my trust in Mike Brem to lead Turlock.
