Peggie Kaelin: Thanks to the ‘3 Ss,’ true American heroes

Heroes – we all need and have them in our lives. And I just added three new ones to my list. I call them the “3 Ss,” since all their last names start with the letter S. Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone and Anthony Sadler. The three Americans who took down the Islamist gunman on the train. These three young men truly demonstrated the true American spirit of “doing the right thing” at the right time. By their unselfish actions and quick thinking, they adverted what could have been a national tragedy. To them, I say, “Thank you!”
