Denham doesn’t deserve our votes

I found The Bee’s endorsement of Jeff Denham disgusting given the many reservations the article mentioned. I share those reservations. Denham has had two terms to prove himself. What has he accomplished? Nothing of substance. He uses a lot of political buzzwords like jobs, water, immigration. To my knowledge he has not written any legislation that went anywhere. Oh yes, he proclaims that he supported this and that – again it went nowhere. Denham is not a leader, he is a follower. His record demonstrates that, particularly since he just seems to vote his party line with no new ideas.

This man is a forked-tongue politician who is interested in no more than retaining his seat. Why would anybody vote for a known failure rather than take a chance on a political unknown? It appears that is the only reason The Bee endorsed Denham. I am not a supporter of, nor do I know challenger Michael Eggman, but I am willing to take a risk and give new blood a chance. If he doesn’t work out, get rid of him the next time he is up for re-election. How much more ineffective can he be than Jeff Denham?
