Gene Craig: Nationwide Planned Parenthood protest went uncovered by Bee
Over 300 people stood on McHenry Avenue in front of the Planned Parenthood last Saturday morning protesting Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby body parts and the federal funding given to the organization. Our 300 to 350 protesters were part of over 300 simultaneous demonstrations in cities across the nation. It came as no surprise that The Modesto Bee didn’t cover the event or pick up the national protest as a worthy news story.
Is it not news that most Planned Parenthood offices are located in minority areas? Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was an outspoken racist who saw abortion as a way to reduce the black, Italian, Jewish and Irish population. Does it not shock your conscience that these abortion mills attempt to “harvest” intact fetuses so they can reap higher payments for the body parts? In an era where every government agency seems to want more money does it make sense to send over $500 million in tax dollars to Planned Parenthood?
A congressional investigation into the harvest and sale of baby parts is needed and removal of federal support for Planned Parenthood is urged.
