John Herlihy: Wildfires fault of environmentalists

The firestorms that have inundated the western United States costing lost lives are truly tragic in every sense of the word. Wildlife, their sanctuaries, the environment, air quality, water quality and much more are in peril for decades to come. This will last well into my grandchildren’s lives. So let’s give credit where it is due. Thank you Sierra Club, Audubon Society, extreme enviros and other misguided people for trashing the West. By removing grazing and logging from the forests you created this tragedy. It all falls on your back.

John S. Herlihy, Modesto
