Linda Lagace: Society doesn’t honor the rights of the homeless

Re “Even homeless deserve privacy” (Letters, Aug. 26): A young woman wrote a thoughtful letter to The Bee that I think deserved a more thoughtful answer. Maybe the law says we can take whatever public pictures we like. Maybe the spirit of the law says we really needed to be more conscientious concerning a homeless man’s right to privacy. But just maybe, society doesn’t fully honor the rights of the homeless as full members of our community.
