Rock Libby: I know the difference between chemtrails and contrails

Re “Be fearful of those chemtrails” (Letters, Aug. 17): Many consider those who believe in chemtrails conspiracy theorists and insist these are merely common contrails from everyday jet traffic . I have some experience with contrails from my Aircraft Control & Warning days (USAF) and I can tell the difference. While these things we see in the sky are not all chemtrailst, an alarming percentage appear to be just that. I have no idea what reason our government has its pursuit of this activity but considering the source, it cannot be good.
