Daniel Connell: Something fishy in the bear attack story

Re “Bear attack left veteran fighting for his life” (Page A3, Aug. 17): On rereading the bear-attack story, I find it highly suspect and, at the least, highly embellished. I think some fact-checking is needed and a phone call or two to wildlife experts on black bear behavior.
