Ted Elness: Like Trump or not, he’s his own man
Noted on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show: a clip of Donald Trump saying, in so many words, he’s just been offered $5 million for his campaign fund from another businessman. Trump told him – “No, I don’t want it, I don’t need it. Five years from now, when you want a favor from me, I don’t want to have to insult you and refuse to do your bidding.”
This is refreshing to hear from a candidate! What a concept! Whether you like Trump or not, he has highlighted another major major problem with today’s politics.
