Board correct to suspend leaders

Congratulations to SCAP's board of directors for suspending Denise Gibbs, Joe Gibbs and Caryl Prunty ("SCAP leaders off the job," Dec. 2, Page A-1). These people took advantage of their positions to benefit themselves and their families. These benefits are for people with disabilities and special needs. Why are they suspended with pay? They may have committed a crime and should be suspended without pay and be fully investigated. Also, congratulations to The Modesto Bee for bringing this into the open.
