John Foley: Typical liberal opinion by The Bee

Re “Culling the GOP herd” (Page B3, Aug. 12): Reading the Aug. 12th edition made clear to me, again, that The Modesto Bee is nothing more than a liberal rag. Your article headline “Culling the GOP herd “ was nothing short of horrible. The author, Daniel Ruth of the Tampa Bay Times, had nothing nice to say about any of the contenders. He went out of his way to find something negative about each of them. I suppose he would be ecstatic about Hillary Clinton getting into the White House, forget the fact that she has no accomplishments to tell of and is under investigation, again, this time over her email scandal. As far back as Whitewater, the Clintons have abused the laws and their constituents, but no matter for columnist Ruth, as long as it is a Democrat in office. His lack of intelligent writing and The Bee’s desire to print it make my point. Too bad this is the only newspaper; the citizens of this valley deserve better.
