Laurie Fleming: 9th Street motels are worst in Modesto
Re “Modesto looks at problem motels” (Page A1, Aug. 11): I can not believe the Budget Inn and Arrow Inn on South 9th Street were not mentioned once in this article. Law enforcement has been called to respond to reports of burglary, forgery, indecent exposure and other crimes for years. The area is riddled with drugs and prostitution. We need to put these hotels out of business.
