Efren Martinez: Be kind to runners, pick up after your dogs
Spoiler Alert! You might believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, but there is no Poop Fairy to pick up after your dog. While I’m out on my runs, I seem to step on your pet’s poop more and more often. Unlike other animal waste, dog waste doesn’t biodegrade easily, it sticks around for a long time. Meanwhile it contains harmful bacteria, pollutes ground water, and smells disgusting on the bottom of your shoe. Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pet. And for the love of all animals, please spay, neuture and nuture your pets. Why? Because I love your pets as much as you do. Please be kind to each other and all animals.
