James L. Petty Sr.: City government’s priorities are self-serving

I have been trying for years to get the city to repair the curb in front of my home. Same old answer, we don’t have the money or the personnel to do the job. However driving past the transportation center on Carpenter Road and Woodland Avenue, I see they have enough money and personnel to completely resurface that area with cement. I will never believe what the city tells me. What I think of city government can’t be printed on the Opinion page.
