Lynne George: Law enforcement shouldn’t delay issuing Amber Alerts
Small children, most often young girls, are missing, yet do not “qualify” for Amber Alerts. We are told it is because they might not be victims of abduction; then their bodies are discovered, abused, burned, dead. What must happen before the health and safety of children comes before legal technicalities? Is there a judge, elected official, law-enforcement administrator willing to speak up for these children?
