Larry Dovichi: Sale of baby body parts shouldn’t be supported by tax dollars
Re “House panel wants to interview Planned Parenthood official” (Page A10, July 18): The video showing a planned parenthood doctor admitting they harvest and sell aborted baby parts is unbelievably shocking and must lead to the withdrawal of all federal and state funding from the organization. This doctor, employed by Planned Parenthood, actually states she “did a 17 weeker this morning.” This is our tax money being spent to murder children.
To top off this horrific story, the press (i.e., The Modesto Bee) finally published a print article (July 18) but the use of the phrase “obtain tissue” is a far cry from what the doctor actually said. Tissue does not qualify as a heart, liver or other selected baby parts. “Crushing” the fetus to not harm the heart, liver or whatever else was desired for harvest is sickening. It was ironic that the news article was placed on Saturday’s obit page. Think about it.
