Stacy Phillips: No way to spin video, abortion harms women and unborn children

Re “House panel wants to interview Planned Parenthood official” (Page A10, July 18): Shocking! Planned Parenthood’s director of medical services casually discusses how the organization sells aborted babies (filmed while she enjoyed salad and wine). There is no way to “spin” this latest story: Abortion harms women, ends the life of children and harms anyone who works in the abortion industry.

But there is hope and help for those who wish to stop working in this industry. Abby Johnson stopped, and she now helps others. We can encourage compassionate solutions to crisis pregnancies that don’t harm the mother or the child. This story brings to light just how abortion diminishes us all.
