Richard A. McCullough: Our beliefs and morals have crumbled together

Years ago I remember most everything was closed on Sundays. That day was set aside for church and family get-togethers. I never heard of any business losing any money by being closed on Sundays. People just did their business on the other six days.

In those days, the majority of Americans said they were Christians and believed in God and did not object to “In God we Trust” on our money. We also believed in the Ten Commandments and morals. In the past 60 years that has changed and, my observation suggests, not for the better. In the Bible it says, in the last days good will be bad and bad will be good. As a young man I could not see that ever happening. But today, I see a lot of bad being good and good being bad.
