Juan Ruano: Officer made 4th memorable and safer

With so many tragedy stories that happened over the 4th of July here is a good story. On 4th, a Modesto police officer answered on a call on Princeton Avenue. After he was done, he stopped to hand out stickers and helped my 4-year-old son and his cousin light some fireworks. My son was so excited. The rest of the day he proudly wore his sticker and kept telling everyone he was a Junior Police Officer. We didn’t get the officer’s name, but wanted to share the story. A minute of your time, sir, made a huge impact on my son.

Juan Ruano, Modesto
