Anne M. Steele: If animals can be gay, why can’t humans?

Re “Religious freedom now in jeopardy” (Letters, July 9): Years ago, my husband, who was raised on a ranch, told me that there were at least 1,000 animals of different species who were homosexual. I had the opportunity to write a letter about this very subject several years ago. Since I wasn’t absolutely certain of my husband’s comments, I tried to Google the information to find out the truth.

He was correct. There are 5,000 plus animals that are homosexual. I know that a lot of you think that just because the Supreme Court passed a law it gives the right to marry to all gay people, that we are all doomed. That is not the case. Since gay animals aren’t going to hell, then why are we?

There in no place in the Bible where Jesus says a word about homosexuals. Yes, I know about that chapter in Leviticus, which has not a thing to do with the world as it is today.
