Mike Moran: Why does our nation accept immorality of abortion?
Heard some heartwarming news yesterday coming out of San Francisco. A service of observance was held for last year’s abandoned newborns in the city who subsequently died nameless. The ceremony was meant to emphasize the value and significance of these little ones and that even though they’re gone, they are not forgotten.
Listening, I couldn’t help but think about the other reality we live with daily in every city across the country where thousands of little lives are abandoned and die, forgotten through the act of abortion. Many celebrate and defend the choice people have to make this decision when the only difference between these two stories is that one child was alive outside the womb while the other was alive inside the womb.
Every once-great nation falls from demoralization from within, when what was once immoral becomes moral and socially accepted. I fear we have arrived at this dangerous place in our own history. God, please rescue us from this insanity before it is too late.
